External terminal modules are designed for connection of signals to input or output modules of PLCs of TC700 series with 32 or 64 I/Os. The possibility of the direct connection of signal from technological process is advantageous, because other transition terminal modules aren't necessary. Some modules contain protection elements. Fast installation and easy maintenance is advantageous too, especially on modules, where the elements are settled in sockets. The system enables distribution of terminal boards in the distribution box according to needs of the designer independently on the location of PLC. It is possible to combine various types of the terminal board modules connected to one I/O module of TC700 system. There are available modules fitted with switching elements for the loads up to 16 A that are only hardly feasible on the PLC board.
