The IC-7702 counter module allows realizing of optional two 32 bit counters with 5 inputs or four 32 bit counters with 3 inputs for the connection of pulse signals or for the connection of incremental position sensors. The other possible optional functions are timers, conditionally switched counters or the functions of signal period measurement. The output functions allow controlling of drives for the purpose of setting the position of the axes of various types of machinery.
