TECOMAT Foxtrot controller is dedicated to the automation of machines, designed to create a centralized and distributed control structures for small and medium-sized technology nodes, assembling and production lines as well as management of large complex structures of BMS, control of traffic and the identification of vehicles. Primary advantage of a TECOMAT family  is a tool for programming of all types and varieties of controllers regardless of their size. Mosaic is a program that supports both the smallest and largest TECOMAT controllers regardless of the structure of the system configuration and of communication network used. This feature is especially valuable for customers who highly appreciate the possibility of using complex algorithms in the smallest units of central without having special variety of tools for different types of CPUs included in the system. The advantage is applicable to the rules for setting up the operator and visualization equipment, regardless of the nature and size of displays or panels connected into the structure of complex solutions. This allows a far-reaching optimization of control systems, since it does not force the use of over-dimensioned controllers in case the demands of technological objects may be met by smaller units instead of one from higher range which implies the need to have additional software and tools affecting the price of the entire solution.

TECOMAT controllers give professionals the freedom to shape the structure of the automation. A broad spectrum of network communication allows you to optimize the selection of co-measuring devices and actuators, which may come from external specialistic suppliers. The system can integrate the weight sensors, personal identification devices, barcode readers, the media consumption meters, cameras and image analysis equipment, facilities and trajectory control, drives and servos because the available communication protocols do not impose barriers to freedom choice of optimal solutions. The funtionality of TECOMAT gives the long-awaited response to progressive pressure of demanding customers for the abolition of restrictions imposed by the systems hermetically sealed within the limited possibilities for data exchange with external cooperating devices.

The smallest unit of the central TECOMAT Foxtrot and larger, modular TECOMAT TC700 network nodes may provide for the integration of components based on protocols of Profibus DP, Modbus, CAN, CIB, EPSNET, EPSNET-F, TCP/UDP using electrical standards RS232, RS485 and RS422 and media types like twisted wires, coaxial cables or power cables.
CPU modules are fitted as standard in high-speed Ethernet ports and  in an integrated Web server which allows you to easily implement the Web pages. The system also include a full range of wireless solutions for the exchange of data in industrial environments /RFox/ or transmission of data packets in the form of GPRS or SMS short messages. Uniform design tools that meet standard IEC61131-3 /IL - Instruction List, LD - Ladder Diagram, ST - Structured Text, FBD - Function Block Diagram/ allows easy configuration of the system covering all types of central units, the full simulation, maintenance and visualization. The rich database of software blocks provides virtually unlimited opportunities for carrying out the functions of measuring and regulation /HART protocol/ controlling of servos and drives /SERCOS interface - Serial Real-time Communication System/ equipped with encoders detecting the actual position. Already the basic unit of TECOMAT Foxtrot can handle objects by more than 4 thousands of digital inputs/outputs. The simplest multi CPUs configuration allows the construction of a system including up to 32 central units that exchange data with no delay, since their data are stored in the common memory areas at the same time at each cycle of the program loop, completely independently of the chosen mode of communication with peripheral components. The complete projects can be stored on the flash memory SDHC/SD/MMC with a capacity of 4GB inserted into the CPU unit. All elements of the structure may be covered by a professional master control with the SCADA Reliance. This allows the remote approach to the databases storing the technology solutions or recipes and implementation of remote support for archiving and supervising.
